RED CROSS DISASTER SERVICES

The Red Cross responds to as many as 64,000 disasters every year – small disasters like a fire in someone’s home to large disasters like this year’s Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria and the massive wildfires in California. Your support of Red Cross Disaster Cycle Services during this holiday season can help bring relief to victims of disasters when they need it most.

Here’s just a sampling of the gifts you can give this season:

  • Blankets bring warmth and security. In a disaster, children and families are often exposed to the elements. You can provide warm, cozy blankets to protect them from the cold and help them sleep comfortably in emergency shelters.
  • Hot meals provide comfort and strength during a disaster. While families impacted by disaster struggle to rebuild their lives, you'll help provide hearty, comforting meals to give them energy for the challenging days ahead.
  • Full day of emergency shelter for families who have lost everything. Emergencies can force people to leave their homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs. That’s why a Red Cross response always begins with a safe place to sleep, hot food and a hug.

Support the American Red Cross and ensure people receive the help they need. Give something that means something during this holiday season. Help the Red Cross support those in need here at home and around the globe.
